BlueHost offers a simple File Manager upload interface that allows you to transfer documents and multimedia from your hard drive to your Web hosting account with only a couple clicks of your mouse. You can also upload files encoded in XML format, which is often used for Web pages and blogs.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "Control Panel Login." Enter your Domain ID or User ID and password, and click "Log In."

    • 2

Scroll down to the "Files" tab and double-click the "File Manager" icon. Click the location where you want to upload the XML file, be it "Home Directory" or an "Document Root" for one of your add-on domains, if you have any.

    • 3

Navigate to the folder where you want to store the XML file directly. Click the "Upload" button, then click "Browse" and search your computer for the file. Click "Open."

    • 4

Wait until BlueHost tells you the process is 100 percent complete. Click "Back to File Manager." Your file now appears within BlueHost.
